Form Submissions & Public Links

Once you publish a form, you can share it with your congregation and the public. This guide explains how to collect responses, share public links, and view submission data.

1. Sharing Public Forms

Every published form generates a unique public link that can be shared via email, text message, social media, or embedded on your church website.

  • Accessing the Link: Click the Share button next to any published form to copy its public web address.
  • Guest Access: Public links do not require users to log in or create an account. Anyone with the link can submit a response, making it perfect for public event registrations, visitor sign-ups, or community surveys.

2. Dynamic Member Profile Linking

When a submission is received, the system attempts to correlate the respondent with your existing church database:

  • Logged-in Members: If a registered member logs in and submits a form, their response is automatically saved directly to their member profile. This updates their 360-degree timeline, allowing deacons and priests to see their form history.
  • Visitor Profiles: If a guest submits a form (for example, a new visitor sheet), administrators can easily convert the submission data into a new contact card in the church CRM with a single click.

3. Spam Prevention & Security

To protect your forms from automated spam bots and malicious uploads:

  • Rate Limiting: The system monitors submission activity. If a device attempts to send multiple forms in rapid succession, it is temporarily blocked from submitting further responses.
  • File Upload Protection: All uploaded documents or images are automatically scanned and stored in private church storage buckets, ensuring member details remain confidential.
