Keeping your parish informed is simple. The Announcements module supports publishing news, pinning important updates, tracking read statuses, and receiving regional broadcasts from your diocese.

1. Local Church Announcements

Administrators and ministry leaders can publish articles, news, and notifications to their congregation.

Pinned Announcements: Highlight critical updates (such as schedule adjustments or holy day feasts) by pinning them. Pinned items always appear at the top of member feeds.
Categories: Sort announcements into categories (e.g., General, Youth, Charity, Events) to help members filter and find relevant information.
Read Receipts: The system tracks when members read announcements, allowing coordinators to see overall reach and engagement percentages.

2. Diocesan Broadcasts

If your church is part of a larger diocese, leaders at the diocesan level can broadcast news that automatically propagates to child parishes.

Automatic Distribution: Announcements published by the diocese automatically appear on the dashboards of all linked parishes.
Targeted Scope: Diocesan admins can broadcast to all nested churches (including campuses and deaneries) or target specific regions.
Priority Labels: Broadcasts can be marked with priority levels (e.g., normal, high, or urgent) to highlight critical regional announcements.
Local Control: Parishes receive these updates instantly without local admins needing to copy or republish posts.
