Clergy Directory & Confession Bookings
The Clergy module provides a directory of your parish’s priests and deacons, and manages confession availability, hospital visit requests, and meeting bookings.
1. Clergy Directory
Keep a record of your church’s spiritual leadership:
- Title and Roster: Lists priests, archpriests, deacons, and visiting bishops.
- Ordination Records: Track ordination dates and diocesan assignments.
- Spiritual Roles: Designate which priests accept confessions, manage alms, or lead Sunday School coordination.
2. Booking Confessions & Meetings
Members can coordinate spiritual meetings with priests directly from their member portal:
- Online Scheduler: View available time slots published by your confession father.
- Meeting Types: Book slots for Confession, Home Visitations, Hospital Blessings, or Office Hours.
- Private Notes: Add private request descriptions for the priest to review prior to meeting.
- Confirmation Flow: Receive email and push notifications when a priest confirms or requests a time adjustment.
3. Availability & Exceptions Management
Priests can manage their schedules from their dashboards:
- Weekly Templates: Set default hours of availability (for example, “Saturdays 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM”).
- Booking Blocks: Schedule calendar blocks for personal retreats, diocesan synods, or vacations.
- Override Exceptions: Cancel or reschedule all bookings for specific dates if emergency visitations arise.
